What Your Fees Cover

Your fees cover the following:

• The course fee, which includes pool time made available for each group plus the salaries that WSC pay our coaches.  WSC hire pools at Eton, Windsor, the Magnet in Maidenhead, Aldershot and Heathfield School for various different groups.
• The membership fee, which includes Membership of the Club and ASA insurance for the Club. The insurance covers Civil Liability, Employers Liability and Personal accident.
• 3 Novice Galas per year - our swimmers do not pay an entry fee.
• Hire of pools when we host Speedo, Thames Valley and other WSC galas.
• WSC fund the hire of coaches to transport teams to various events throughout the year.
• WSC fund essential poolside equipment and land training facilities for Junior and Top Swimmers.
• WSC fund essential safety courses and pool tests for our teachers who are voluntary.
• WSC fund timekeeping, judging and referee courses.

However,

• There is an entry fee set for events and galas throughout the year per swim (where the parents or coaches choose the events that they wish the children to enter, dependent on whether they have met the required entry time for each event chosen).  So you might be entering anything from one to twelve events per weekend over a Gala such as the Guildford Open, Haslemere, Wycombe, Bracknell, Derby , Swansea meets etc.  Some parents will also have to pay for overnight accommodation if they have travelled and they are staying overnight.
